Our last feature of the month is Atikah Amalina, also known as The Tudung Traveller. A Singaporean who shares the same passion as other globetrotters featured here, which is… Travelling. Other than having a passion for travelling, Atikah Amalina is a National University of Singapore graduate and she is also an Educator and a Social Activist. Other than that, she is also active in volunteering at various organizations. How inspiring is that? Masya Allah. I wish I could be as active and inspiring as her but I love my baju kelawar and bed more. Just kidding!
Her travel blog is not just about places she has visited but more to the story of what she experienced from the travel. Quoted from her blog, “they aren’t just about the places I’ve been to, but the journey of faith and growth that has taken place along the way”. So basically, she writes about her reflection from her travel journey in the human and spiritual perspectives. Like… What she gained, learned, saw, etc. Also, writing is part of her passion too (we can be bestfriend now heheh :p). She also mentioned that writing is a way for her giving back to the world. She’s combining both of her passions (travelling and writing) for something she can contribute to people around the world.
If you ever need some inspiration, kata-kata semangat or travel experiences, you may visit her blog, https://thetudungtraveller.com and her Instagram page, @thetudungtraveller.
Fyi, if you notice… her Instagram page is different than other globetrotters featured here. It is because… she travels for life journey as she is more keen in exploring spirituality and growth.
Writing about these globetrotters for the past 4 weeks make me excited for my next vacaaaaaation :D I cannot wait to spend time with my family, sight seeing, makan-makan and a little shopping spree hehe. May Allah ease everything. Amin.
It has been 3 months of Inspiring Women for 2017 and there have been 12 features or CbA’s pick. I hope everyone is inspired as much as we are. Insha Allah, I’ll keep writing about other inspiring women and more interesting post coming your way. Insha Allah.
Other than that, we are on our last week of December and just only few days to the end of 2017. Everytime I think about it, it makes me emotional. Eseh haha. But its true. Time flies so fast. It feels like I haven’t done a lot and there is still so much for me to achieve for 2017. But it doesn’t stop til 2017. Selagi Allah panjangkan umur tani, we still continue to do our part in this temporary world.
So, what’s up 2018? I cannot wait to see what you have for me. However, whats important is that we turn a new leaf, refresh our niat, set new goals and purpose. Insha Allah, everything will go smoothly as how we plan it.
